The Bank ERP, Analytics, and Reporting IT Business Analyst is responsible for understanding, analyzing, and translating business requirements into effective IT solutions that optimize the bank's enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, analytics platforms, and reporting frameworks. This role will focus on enhancing the integration, functionality, and efficiency of ERP systems, supporting data-driven decision-making, and ensuring the bank's reporting processes are compliant, accurate, and aligned with business goals. The IT Business Analyst will collaborate closely with business stakeholders, ERP developers, data analysts, and IT teams to implement solutions that improve operational performance and provide insights into business activities.

Key Responsibilities:

ERP Systems Analysis and Implementation:

• Collaborate with business stakeholders (e.g., finance, operations, HR, compliance) to gather and document requirements for ERP system enhancements or new implementations.
• Analyse existing ERP Microsoft Dynamics systems and identify opportunities for optimization and process improvements across various business functions.
• Work with ERP development teams to design, configure, and implement system changes or integrations that align with business needs and goals.
• Oversee the integration of ERP systems with other business applications, ensuring seamless data exchange and streamlined operations across departments.
• Assist with system testing, troubleshooting, and user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure that ERP solutions meet business and technical requirements.

Data Analytics and Reporting Frameworks:

• Design, develop, and optimize data analytics and reporting frameworks to provide business intelligence that supports decision-making across the bank.
• Work with business stakeholders to define key performance indicators (KPIs) and reporting requirements that align with the bank's strategic objectives.
• Leverage data analysis tools (e.g., SQL, Power BI, Tableau, Excel) to generate reports, dashboards, and data visualizations that provide insights into business performance, financial data, and operations.
• Ensure that reporting outputs are accurate, actionable, and tailored to the needs of different business units, including finance, risk, and operations.
• Support the development of automated reports and data pipelines to enhance the efficiency of reporting processes.

Business Requirements Gathering and Documentation:

• Work closely with business users to gather and document detailed requirements for ERP system functionalities, reporting capabilities, and data analysis needs.
• Analyse current workflows, business processes, and data requirements to ensure that ERP solutions are designed to optimize operational efficiency.
• Develop business requirements documents (BRDs), functional specifications, and system use cases that will guide ERP and reporting solutions development.
• Act as a liaison between business users and IT teams, translating business needs into clear, actionable IT deliverables.

System Integration and Optimization:

• Oversee the integration of ERP systems with other business applications, ensuring seamless workflows and accurate data transfer.
• Identify areas where existing systems can be enhanced to improve operational efficiency, data integrity, or compliance.
• Work with IT teams to resolve integration issues and ensure that ERP solutions are properly aligned with other enterprise applications such as CRM, HR, and financial systems.
• Provide ongoing support to ensure the smooth operation of ERP systems and reporting tools, including troubleshooting and problem resolution.

Analytics and Data Management:

• Develop data models, reports, and analytics dashboards that align with business needs and reporting requirements.
• Support the implementation of data governance frameworks to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across reporting systems.
• Collaborate with data engineers and analysts to refine data collection methods, reporting structures, and business intelligence (BI) tools.
• Analyse data trends to provide business insights that guide decision-making in areas such as financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting.

Compliance and Regulatory Reporting:

• Ensure that the ERP system, analytics platforms, and reporting tools are compliant with industry regulations and standards (e.g., IFRS, GDPR).
• Work with compliance and audit teams to design and implement systems that support regulatory reporting requirements and data retention policies.
• Support the creation of compliance reports and dashboards that monitor financial and operational activities to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.

User Training and Documentation:

• Provide training and guidance to business users on how to use ERP systems, reporting tools, and data analytics platforms effectively.
• Develop user manuals, technical documentation, and training materials to support ongoing system adoption and proficiency across the bank.
• Assist with the development of training programs for new system features or upgrades, ensuring that users are up-to-date with the latest functionalities.

Continuous Improvement and Innovation:

• Identify opportunities to leverage emerging technologies, such as artificial intelligence (AI) or machine learning (ML), to improve ERP functionality, data analysis, or reporting.
• Monitor industry best practices for ERP systems, data analytics, and reporting to keep the bank's technology solutions competitive and innovative.
• Propose improvements to existing systems and processes based on user feedback, system performance metrics, and new business needs.

Project Management and Support:

• Manage the lifecycle of ERP and reporting projects, from initial requirements gathering to implementation and post-implementation support.
• Collaborate with project managers and IT teams to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and meet business objectives.
• Assist with project planning, resource allocation, and milestone tracking to ensure successful project execution.
• Provide ongoing support and maintenance for ERP systems and reporting tools after implementation, including regular updates, bug fixes, and system optimizations.
