Job Description:
- Assist in mixing and kneading dough according to specific recipes, ensuring consistency and quality in every batch.
- Monitor the baking process, adjusting temperatures and timers as necessary to produce perfectly baked goods.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the baking area, adhering to health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
- Prepare and assemble ingredients for production, measuring and weighing items accurately to meet recipe specifications.
- Operate machinery such as mixers, ovens, and slicers while adhering to safety protocols and manufacturer guidelines.
- Support the packaging process by properly wrapping and labeling finished products for distribution, ensuring they meet quality standards.
- Conduct regular inventory checks of raw materials and supplies, notifying supervisors of any shortages or discrepancies.
- Collaborate with the baking team to develop new recipes and improve existing ones, contributing to product innovation.
- Assist in training new team members on operational procedures and best practices to maintain a high level of productivity.
- Participate in daily meetings to discuss production goals, challenges, and team performance, fostering open communication.
Desired Candidate Profile:
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred, demonstrating foundational education.
- Previous experience in a bakery or food production environment is highly desirable, ideally 1-2 years.
