Turkish Kunafeh Chef Assistant
Kunafeh Chef Assistant Responsibilities:
- Preparing components as well as managing cooking and other kitchen area devices.
- Creating breads, baked products, and confections, by following a set recipe (Specifically Kunafeh).
- Developing new dishes for seasonal food selections (Kunafeh with various flavours).
- Embellishing pastries and desserts to ensure stunning and attractive presentation.
- Monitoring the supply of baking ingredients.
- Getting new supplies, ingredients, and devices for the bread section, when needed, and within budget plan.
- Ensuring their section of the kitchen complies with safety and health and wellness regulations.
- Monitoring and educating team members, when required.
Kunafeh Chef Assistant Requirements:
- High school diploma.
- Post-secondary training at a cooking institution.
- Certification in cookeries, pastry-making, cooking, or relevant field.
- 2 or more years' experience working within the food industry as a Pastry Chef, Baker, or relevant role.
- Working knowledge of cooking methods and the pastry-making process.
- Creative capability with artistic ability in making Kunafeh.
- Eager interest to detail.
- In-depth knowledge of hygiene concepts, food preparation, and nutrition.
- Flexible working hours, including weekends and evenings, when necessary.
- Efficient in working in a hectic, production environment.
