Backend Software Engineer Java

Responsibilities:

1. Building mobile APIs
2. Developing micro services to evolve our architecture
3. Perfecting a number of systems that our business depend on, like risk management, fraud detection, payment processing, etc.
4. Focusing mostly on greenfield development and improvement of existing systems

What You'll Need:

1. Fluency with Java
2. 4+ years of experience in back-end development
3. A bachelor's degree or higher in computer science, maths, physics, or similar field
4. To be a quick learner with an ambitious and results-driven personality
5. To work well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
6. Excellent communication and organisational skills
7. Fluency in English

Nice to have:

1. Experience with Kotlin and Scala
2. Experience within Finance
3. Experience within a start-up or scale-up
4. Experience within a product-focused environment
