Job Description – Back Office Manager – London DE DMCC

Remuneration: 25,000 AED per calendar month + quarterly bonus

Visa and medical insurance: Provided

Working hours: 35 hours per week (plus additional hours as required to fulfil the role)

Annual leave: 25 days + public holidays

Full-time permanent position

Start date: As soon as possible

Place of work: Monday to Friday 1000 – 1800 Office based - Silver Tower, JLT (from 7th May 2025)

Probation: 6 months

Founded in 2013, the London DE (LDE) Group is engaged in the trading of precious metals, precious stones, fine jewellery and the full range of alternative investment asset classes.

Currently, the London DE Group comprises 7 entities:

  1. London DE DMCC – Parent company for the group, headquartered in Dubai, UAE.
  2. London DE Limited – The UK based entity, with offices in London and Norwich.
  3. London DE SAS (Colombia Branch) – The regional office for Latin America, based in Bogota, Colombia, specialising in the production of emerald jewellery and cut and polished stones.
  4. Sylvera London – Trading name for the direct-to-consumer fine jewellery brand, specialising in both bespoke and ready to wear jewellery.
  5. Luxury Commentator – Blog and commentary channel, supporting group SEO.
  6. London Gold Xchange (LGX) – Direct to consumer physical bullion and gold coins.
  7. Acquisition of Wealth LLP (AOW) – Dubai based alternative investment marketing company, covering the full spectrum of alternatives from vintage cars to property and fine whisky.

Key responsibilities:

  • Sales support and the management of investment paperwork, KYC, AML and compliance.
  • Bookkeeping.
  • Facilities management.
  • Feeding into the board any areas in which administrative efficiencies can be achieved.
  • Payroll and HR.
  • Invoicing and managing supplier and customer relationships.
  • General administrative tasks.

Key Skills, Experience and pre-requisites:

  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience as an administration professional.
  • Experience of administration, KYC, AML and application processes within investments.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Maximum of 3 previous employers in the past 5 years.
  • Two references are required (with at least one from a former employer).
  • No past criminal convictions in any country.
  • UAE resident.
  • A high degree of digital literacy.
  • Team skills and a self-starter.
