AWS Data Engineer

I am working with a client who provides asset servicing solutions to the global investment management industry. They provide access to a range of leading solutions from fund administration, middle-office outsourcing, custody, foreign exchange, trustee services and depository to securities lending and other banking services.

I am looking for a data engineer that is highly skilled and experienced in AWS. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing data pipelines, cloud-based storage, and analytics solutions.

This role requires expertise in AWS Services, such as Redshift or Snowflake, S3, AWS Lambda, and AWS Glue.

As a data engineer your roles and responsibilities would typically include:

1. Design, develop and manage scalable ETL pipelines to process large datasets efficiently.
2. Build and maintain cloud-based data warehouse solutions using Snowflake or AWS Redshift.
3. Develop serverless applications using AWS Lambda to automate data workflows.
4. Utilize AWS Glue to catalog, prepare and transform data for analytics purposes.
5. Manage and optimize data storage solutions in Amazon S3.
6. Monitor data pipelines to ensure reliability.

Skills needed:

1. Proficient in AWS Services, Snowflake, Redshift, Lambda, Glue and other related tools.
2. Strong ETL experience.
3. Knowledge of data governance and best practices for cloud.
