B1.3 Engineer - AW139 or H145 type rated (training certificates in accordance to part 147)
BASIC FUNCTION AND SCOPE (SUMMARY)
Performs scheduled and unscheduled aircraft maintenance tasks. Reports directly to the Supervisor for all aspects of aircraft, facility, tool and equipment, and administrative requirements.
QUALIFICATIONS
- EASA, GCAA Airframe and Powerplant Certificate or industry equivalent.
- High School Diploma, graduation from military or commercial aircraft maintenance school or course required.
- Must be able to attain a UAE Driving License.
- Must hold a Part 147 rated certification.
EXPERIENCE
- Minimum of 10 years of aviation maintenance experience.
- Minimum of 5 years as a mechanic on aircraft type.
- Must have completed AW139 type training.
- Must have thorough knowledge in the use of common tools, special tools, test equipment, and aviation ground support equipment used in performing maintenance on the relevant aircraft.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
- Must be able to read, write, and understand English.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist the maintenance supervisor to accomplish the company's mission.
- Perform inspection, servicing, and repair of aircraft and equipment IAW applicable technical publications and local policies and procedures. Assist in ensuring aircraft and equipment are maintained in a high state of mission readiness.
- Provide guidance and on-the-job training (OJT) to customer trainees, aiming to help them achieve full capacity to carry out maintenance.
- Complete all forms, records, and documents recording aircraft maintenance activities IAW applicable technical publications and local policies and procedures.
- May be requested to perform rated and/or non-rated crew member duties to facilitate completion of maintenance activities such as Maintenance Test Flights, Maintenance Operational Checks, and operation of diagnostic equipment during ground and/or flight (subject to completion of a flight physical).
- Other duties as assigned by Supervisor or Team Lead.

- Must have strong leadership, delegation, and interpersonal skills.
- Must work well with other departments.
