We are seeking an experienced Aviation Safety Manager with specialized expertise in the AW139 platform to oversee and enhance safety programs within an aviation maintenance contract. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and administering safety protocols, conducting risk assessments, and ensuring compliance with safety standards across all operations.

Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement safety policies, goals, objectives, and priorities for the AW139 platform.
Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and create corrective actions to mitigate hazards.
Monitor and audit safety-related programs, ensuring compliance with established standards.
Oversee quarterly safety meetings, semi-annual inspections, and incident investigations.
Ensure compliance with safety protocols for hazardous materials, ammunition, and aviation life-support equipment.
Administer the Foreign Object Damage (FOD) prevention program and operational hazard reporting systems.
Provide expert safety advice to leadership and stakeholders regarding AW139-specific operations.
Maintain updated safety records, literature, and training materials to promote a culture of safety.
Qualifications:
Certification from a recognized Aviation Safety Course, Accident Avoidance Training, Composite Risk Management (CRM), and Hazardous Materials Training.
Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) in management or a related field (preferred: advanced education in safety program management).
At least 10 years of experience in Army aviation or rotary-wing operations, including 5 years in safety management.
Demonstrated experience with the AW139 platform is essential.
Language Skills:
Must be proficient in English (reading, writing, and speaking).
