The AV Technician is required to support corporate meetings, seminars, and conferences by providing reliable AV setups and support. The role involves handling equipment for presentations, webinars, and hybrid events and requires strong technical expertise and customer service skills.
Job Responsibilities
Set up AV equipment, including projectors, microphones, sound systems, video displays, audio mixers, video conferencing tools, and lighting for events.
Conduct audio and visual checks prior to events, ensuring optimal performance.
Operate equipment during events, including managing live sound, adjusting lighting, and handling video presentations.
Troubleshoot technical issues and ensure minimal disruptions. Perform routine checks, maintenance, and repairs on AV equipment such as projectors.
Liaise with clients to understand their AV needs and ensure setup meets their specifications. Ensure AV systems are operational and meet client specifications.
Maintain inventory of AV equipment and order replacements or repairs as needed.
Document technical setups for events and maintain AV equipment logs.
