Automotive Workshop Electrical Supervisor

Responsibilities:

• Allocates jobs to subordinates according to their skills & levels to assure efficient & effective work.
• Makes sure promises to customers are kept & feeds back to service advisor any difficulties/hitches to avoid undesired customers’ surprises.
• Solves & diagnoses technical difficulties/problems encountered by subordinates for smooth & faster repair/maintenance.
• Manages workshop resources for high utilization and efficiency, thus productivity, which helps in achieving planned targets.
• Conducts on-job training & illustrates released TSBs to subordinates to improve their technical knowledge.
• Feeds back ideas/suggestions to Asst. Workshop Manager for workshop process improvement.
• Prepares & submits administrative reports to Asst. Workshop Manager used for service processes analysis & development.
• Supervises usage of workshop assets to ensure they are maintained in good condition.

Requirements:

• 5-10 years of hands-on experience in automotive electrical diagnostics, repair, and maintenance as an Automotive Workshop Electrical Supervisor in UAE - Preferably in a dealership.
• Diploma or Degree in Automotive Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing automotive electrical systems.
• Familiarity with CAN bus systems and vehicle communication protocols.
• Knowledge of hybrid and electric vehicle systems, including high-voltage systems.
• Reading, writing, and speaking in English is mandatory.
• Prefer to have a UAE driving license.
