Automotive Carbon Fibre Technician

We are looking for an experienced carbon fibre technician in the automobile industry.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. To be able to fabricate and laminate Carbon Fiber and fiberglass.
2. Be able to make molds out of composite material/plastic and silicone.
3. Qualified in the fabrication of carbon fiber products and car parts from said molds.
4. Work with resins, carbon fiber, and honeycomb materials.
5. Experience in Fiberglass/carbon fiber and Pre-preg carbon fiber vacuum bagging process.
6. Buffing and polishing composite parts.
7. Layup composite materials such as carbon fiber, fiberglass, or Kevlar inside production molds to make strong and lightweight structural parts.
8. Knowledge in curing parts techniques.
9. Weigh resins and hardeners.
10. Laminate and prepare customer products to exact process specifications that meet both Applied Composites' and our customer's quality requirements.
11. Clean, dry fit, and trim parts.
12. Perform bonding, curing, and wet laminating tasks associated with the product.
13. Perform mold preparation, sealing, and release tasks.
14. Participate in brainstorming/problem solving with Engineering & Production personnel to solve related problems.
