Automation Engineer

Role: Pacis PSO Automation Engineer

Location: Qatar & UAE

Tenure: Extendable after every one-year (long term contract)

Responsibilities:

1. Use IEDs from multiple vendors for Goose setup and communication.
2. Test and commission multiple vendors' relays, operator interfaces, gateways, and related equipment including Schneider brand Bay Control Units (BCU), Bay Control Protection Units (BCPU), and Relays.
3. Create models of HMIs, gateways, and station servers with the necessary window and operating systems.
4. Standardize settings for network switches such as Hirschman and Connexium configuration.
5. Undertake iFAT, FAT, and SAT for a range of projects.
6. Examine project documentation, engineering drawings, and ensure the scheme requirements and the entire project scope of work are met.
