Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

1. Design & Drawings:
   • Prepare detailed 2D and 3D shop drawings for marble and granite works.
   • Develop conceptual designs, technical drawings, and as-built drawings.
   • Ensure designs comply with project requirements, industry standards, and client specifications.
2. Client Coordination:
   • Communicate with clients to understand project requirements and preferences.
   • Submit shop drawings for client approval and incorporate necessary revisions.
3. Execution:
   • Explain work details to the Factory Foreman and ensure proper implementation.
   • Conduct regular quality checks to verify that the production meets the drawings.
4. Site & Project Support:
   • Coordinate with the Project Engineer, Site Engineer, and Supervisor to ensure smooth execution.
   • Conduct site visits to monitor installation-related issues.
   • Provide technical guidance to the installation team for site challenges.
5. Documentation:
   • Maintain records of all drawings, approvals, and modifications.
   • Prepare reports on design progress and provide regular updates to management.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field.
2. Minimum 5 years of experience in marble and granite design.
3. Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3D Max, Revit, or other relevant design software.
4. Strong knowledge of stone fabrication.
5. Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings.
6. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
