What's On Your Plate?

We’re looking for a Senior Content Designer to work in the Brand & Product Design Chapter along with Visual / Product Designers, Researchers, and Product Managers to audit, plan, create, and continually improve the customer experience for the talabat app.

What a typical day looks like:

1. Working closely with your Tribe / Domain / Squad counterparts, Content Designers, and other team members to create and maintain content that meets user needs.
2. Producing relevant UX copy based on insights and outputs of user testing and in alignment with talabat’s product voice and tone guidelines.
3. Monitoring performance and identifying ways to improve content.
4. Writing clear, concise content for the talabat app, and occasionally emails and push notifications.
5. Able to write with empathy and adjust for the context using our Voice Principles and Tone Framework.
6. Ensuring consistency and cohesiveness across various touchpoints on the app.
7. Developing content frameworks, product narratives, and other deliverables that explain your recommendations and help people understand the practice of Content Design.
8. Approaching all of your work with a localisation mindset.
9. Sharing your work with the team and providing feedback on their work.
10. Managing your own time, priorities, and projects to reliably deliver with quality.

Qualifications

What Did We Order?

1. Minimum of 4+ years of relevant experience writing product copy, preferably for a consumer tech product.
2. Exceptional priority management and organisational skills with the ability to multi-task and context switch daily.
3. Experience collaborating closely with Product Managers and Researchers.
4. Flexible and able to work in an agile environment.
5. Exceptional communication and presentation skills—you can effectively communicate and passionately defend decisions to stakeholders.
6. Empathy for the customer which shows up in your day-to-day work.
7. Solid understanding of user experience design principles.
8. Comfortable working in an engineering environment and technical product area with proven ability to collaborate successfully with cross-functional partners.

Not absolutely necessary, but nice to have:

1. Experience using Figma (yes, we have edit access).
