Auto Warehousing & Logistics Specialist

Job Responsibilities

• Oversee the efficient management of vehicle inventory, ensuring accurate stock levels and timely updates to inventory management systems.
• Coordinate inbound and outbound logistics activities, including scheduling and tracking transportation to optimize delivery times.
• Implement and maintain best practices in warehousing operations, focusing on space utilization and safety protocols.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes from procurement to delivery, enhancing operational efficiency.
• Conduct regular audits of warehouse operations to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Utilize warehouse management software to maintain accurate records of vehicle movements and inventory status.
• Manage relationships with third-party logistics providers to negotiate contracts and ensure service excellence.
• Stay updated on industry trends and regulations, integrating new technologies and practices that enhance logistics efficiency.
• Analyze logistics data to forecast needs and improve delivery timelines, reducing operational costs and enhancing customer satisfaction.
• Lead the training and development of warehouse staff, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred for a strong foundational knowledge.
• At least 3-5 years of experience in automotive logistics or warehousing, demonstrating a deep understanding of the industry.
• Relevant certifications such as Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) or Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) are a plus.
• Experience with automated warehousing systems and advanced inventory management software to optimize operations.
• Fluency in English is mandatory; proficiency in additional languages is advantageous for international logistics interactions.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make data-driven decisions to enhance logistics performance.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with team members and external partners.
