Auto Mechanic

The Automotive Mechanic will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various types of vehicles. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical skills, attention to detail, and a passion for delivering high-quality service.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Vehicle Maintenance and Repair:
   1. Conduct routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, brake inspections, tire rotations, and fluid checks.
   2. Diagnose and repair mechanical issues in engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension systems, and other vehicle components.
2. Diagnostic and Troubleshooting:
   1. Utilize diagnostic tools and equipment to identify and troubleshoot vehicle issues.
   2. Analyze diagnostic data and perform necessary repairs to resolve problems efficiently.
3. Quality Control:
   1. Ensure all repairs and maintenance are completed to the highest standards of quality and safety.
   2. Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to verify the effectiveness of repairs and maintenance.
4. Customer Service:
   1. Communicate clearly and effectively with customers regarding vehicle issues, repair plans, and maintenance recommendations.
   2. Provide excellent customer service to ensure customer satisfaction and encourage repeat business.
5. Record Keeping:
   1. Maintain detailed and accurate records of all work performed on vehicles.
   2. Document diagnostic findings, repairs made, and parts used.
6. Team Collaboration:
   1. Collaborate with other technicians, service advisors, and management to ensure smooth operations and efficient workflow.
   2. Participate in ongoing training and development to stay updated on the latest automotive technologies and repair techniques.

Qualifications:

1. Education: Diploma or certification in Automotive Technology or a related field.
2. Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience as an automotive mechanic.
3. Technical Skills: Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and automotive repair equipment. Strong understanding of vehicle systems and components.
4. Licenses: Valid UAE driver’s license is a plus.
5. Personal Attributes: Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
