Position Summary: Our esteemed client, a frontrunner in the construction materials sector, specializing in building materials, is seeking an Auto Electrician to join their team. The Auto Electrician will be responsible for the electrical maintenance and repair of our fleet and related equipment, ensuring they operate safely and efficiently. This role requires expertise in diagnosing and repairing electrical issues in various vehicles and equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct daily electrical repair and maintenance tasks to ensure all transport and mobile equipment are in optimal operational condition.
- Coordinate with Foremen and third parties for tag-out procedures during scheduled or unscheduled repairs.
- Repair and restore electrical components and sub-assemblies to minimize replacement costs and downtime.
- Collaborate with third-party contractors or specialists when necessary for complex repairs or installations.
- Conduct thorough testing and inspections to verify repairs and installations.
- Ensure high-quality workmanship and use appropriate tools for each job.
- Comprehensive knowledge of the functions and components of Ready-Mix truck mixers, concrete pumps, and other electrical equipment.
- Expertise in the electrical aspects of Ready-Mix trucks and related equipment.
- Familiarity with Safety Rules and Regulations related to electrical work.
- Respond promptly to emergencies requiring immediate electrical repairs or troubleshooting.
Key Qualifications & Skills:
- Minimum 4-5 years of industry experience in diesel engine repair and maintenance.
- Certification in Auto Electrical systems or relevant field preferred.
- Comprehensive understanding of electrical systems, circuits, and components in vehicles.
- Excellent diagnostic and troubleshooting skills to identify electrical issues and propose effective solutions.
