➤ Demonstrate a general understanding of installation procedures for mobile computers, mobile radios, and mounting components.

Electrical Systems Knowledge:

Possess a knowledgeable background in 12-volt and 24-volt electrical systems.

Vehicle Upfits and Builds:

Perform vehicle upfits and builds according to client specifications and company standards.

Work Schedule Management:

Maintain and adhere to daily work schedules as outlined for client projects.

Inventory Monitoring:

Monitor inventory to ensure availability of necessary products and coordinate with the appropriate department to arrange shipment of required items.

Project Communication:

Regularly communicate with management regarding project progress and address any issues encountered.

Documentation Review:

Maintain and review accurate documentation to ensure work aligns with the outlined project scope.

Vehicle Component Disassembly and Assembly:

Disassemble and reassemble electrical parts and components, including:

1. A/C systems (removal and recharging of gas)
2. Dashboard removal and installation
3. Wire harness removal, preparation, and installation
4. Electrical bracket installation
5. Rear A/C removal and installation

Electrical Modifications:

Modify electrical components for installation following vehicle specifications.

Accessory Installation:

Install additional accessories such as:

1. Strobe lights
2. Airbag switches
3. Battery link monitors and separators
4. Fuel cut-off switches
5. Rear and front sensors
6. Door actuator wiring
7. Rear door hatch switches
8. Kill switches for all lights
9. Cigarette lighters in rear
10. Headlight washers
11. Roof light modifications

Flexibility and Cross-Training:

Be flexible and open to cross-training in other departments as required.
