The Auditing Consultant (Risk & Transaction) plays a critical role in conducting risk assessments and transactional audits for the organization. They are responsible for analyzing financial data, identifying potential risks, and ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations. This role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as attention to detail and the ability to work under tight deadlines.
Responsibilities
Perform detailed risk assessments and transactional audits to identify potential areas of concern.
Analyze financial data, including revenue, expenses, and internal controls, to identify any discrepancies or irregularities.
Evaluate the effectiveness of internal processes and controls, and make recommendations for improvements.
Develop and implement strategies to mitigate identified risks and enhance overall performance.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Prepare detailed audit reports, including findings and recommendations, for management review.
Stay updated with industry best practices and emerging trends in risk management and auditing.
Provide training and guidance to staff members on risk assessment and audit procedures.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's or master's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) designation preferred.
Strong knowledge of auditing principles, practices, and standards.
