Audio Visual Engineer

Responsibilities:

1. Cost Estimation: Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for audio-visual systems, including equipment, labor, and other associated costs. Utilize industry-standard tools and software to develop estimates.
2. Project Analysis: Review project plans, specifications, and scope of work to identify and understand client requirements. Assess and quantify materials, labor, and other resources needed for project completion.
3. Supplier and Vendor Coordination: Source and evaluate pricing from suppliers and subcontractors. Negotiate terms and prices to ensure the best value for the company and its clients.
4. Bid Preparation: Develop and submit comprehensive bid proposals that align with client specifications and project requirements. Ensure all estimates and proposals are accurate, competitive, and submitted on time.
5. Collaboration: Work closely with the sales team, project managers, and engineering staff to gather information and ensure accurate and complete estimates. Provide support and insights during the proposal and negotiation phases.
6. Cost Analysis: Analyze historical data and project performance to identify trends and improve estimating accuracy. Provide feedback and recommendations for process improvements.
7. Documentation: Maintain thorough records of estimates, proposals, and related documents. Ensure all documentation is organized and easily accessible for future reference.
8. Client Communication: Address client inquiries regarding estimates and proposals. Provide clarification and additional information as needed to support the sales and project management teams.

Qualifications:

1. Proven experience as an estimator in the AV or related industry, with a strong understanding of audio-visual systems and technologies.
2. Proficiency in estimation software and tools, such as [Insert specific software if applicable].
