Attractions Attendant

Scope of work (JOB PURPOSE)

Rides and Attractions Attendants will ensure the highest safety standards are achieved and maintained throughout the daily operation of the LEGOLAND Dubai rides and attractions, in accordance with Dubai Parks and Resorts and Merlin safety standards. They will ensure that they follow all procedures and training to ensure behavior where the health and safety of our guests and staff is of paramount importance whilst aiming to provide the highest standards of service and guest satisfaction. They will be expected to drive our key operating standards of Safety, Service, Quality, and Efficiency within their level of influence.

Conditions of Work:

• Attendants will spend most of their time on allocated ride positions. These will often be outside and will nearly always involve standing. With this in mind, a good level of physical fitness is a must. All training and documentation is in English, so written and spoken English is required.

Role Overview:

• The role of an Attendant is to be professional, well-trained, responsible, and vigilant at all times when working in LEGOLAND Dubai.

Main Responsibilities

Quality of Work

• To become an Attractions Attendant, staff will be well-trained by certified trainers of the department in order to deliver the necessary skills for each position.
• To understand and follow all Merlin Safety Standards, Standard Operating Procedures, and Emergency Action Plans in order to have in-depth knowledge of the operational requirements and protocols.
• To operate the rides and attractions in accordance with the Standard Operating Procedures in conjunction with the manufacturer’s guidelines and recommended operational methods in order to ensure that all Guests are safe on the ride/s while maintaining the highest customer service standards.

Customer Satisfaction

• To exude a friendly, helpful, and cheerful attitude while communicating effectively with guests and fellow colleagues.
• To completely satisfy each guest by greeting, helping, and protecting them while maintaining a professional appearance at all times and maintaining overall cleanliness of the park in order to contribute to the success of the organization.

Health & Safety

• To take reasonable care for the health and safety of himself and of other persons who may be affected through his work activities.
• To cooperate with and support the LEGOLAND Dubai Management to allow the business to fulfill its legal responsibilities through:
• Following reasonable instruction related to health & safety.
• Reporting dangerous situations or deficiencies in health & safety arrangements.
• To only use work equipment in accordance with training.
• To not interfere or misuse anything provided for the purposes of health & safety.

Qualifications, Experience, & Skills

• High school or equivalent level of education.
• Job-Specific Skills: Physically fit.
