Asst. F&B Manager (Airport Outlets)

Assist the F&B Manager by supervising all Food & Beverage outlets under his/her control efficiently and cost-effectively within the agreed upon operational procedures and capital budgets.

Key Result Areas:

1. Ensure that all customers are provided with the best quality of food and service through cost effective and efficient management.
2. Ensure that assigned staff are professionally supervised, trained, motivated and counselled to achieve the objectives agreed upon and provide necessary guidance whenever required.
3. Ensure that the required stock levels for all outlets are properly maintained according to current levels of consumption.
4. Propose improvements to menus, work methods and procedures, which will help to reduce overheads and increase sales.
5. Ensure that the standards of the service, the quality and prices of food items are maintained to a satisfactory level.
6. Assist in the preparation of daily and monthly duty rosters for the F&B staff and delegate work accordingly.
7. Perform regular checks on all the F&B outlets in Concourse 1, Terminal 1 & 2 and ensure that proper shift handover procedures are followed.
8. Assist the F&B Manager in preparing the monthly report on all F&B activities and in any other related tasks.
9. Apply the Quality Policy and Quality System established in accordance with ISO 9001:2000 international standards and execute all responsibilities according to the department work procedures while reflecting EKFC Quality Policy.

Education Qualification:

A level or Diploma in Catering and/or Hotel Management. (must have)

Work Experience:

Years of Experience: Minimum 7 years of experience if completed A level or 5 years of experience if completed a Diploma in the relevant field. Should have completed all necessary professional/ operational training at advance level.

Skills:

1. Should have significant supervisory skills and organization competencies.
2. Should be fluent in written and spoken English.
