Associate / Senior Associate, South Korea Investments, Global Private Equity Fund, Abu Dhabi, UAE

Our client is a leading global private equity fund with a strong presence in the Middle East. As part of their growing investment platform, they are looking to hire an Associate or Senior Associate to join their South Korea investment team. The role is based full-time in Abu Dhabi and offers the opportunity to work across multiple sectors, focusing on private equity transactions in the South Korean market.

What the job involves:

• Originate, evaluate, and execute private equity investment opportunities in South Korea
• Conduct in-depth financial analysis, due diligence, and LBO modelling to support deal execution
• Work closely with sector specialists and global investment teams to leverage expertise and drive transactions
• Manage relationships with GPs, portfolio companies, and other key stakeholders to monitor performance and enhance value creation
• Contribute to the strategic development of the South Korea investment strategy, identifying trends and key opportunities

Who we are looking for:

• Associate or Senior Associate level professional with a background in private equity, sovereign wealth funds, or top-tier investment banking in South Korea
• Strong exposure to South Korean investments, preferably in buyouts
• Must be fluent in Korean with strong cross-border transaction experience
• Excellent financial modelling and LBO expertise, with a strong understanding of investment evaluation
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across teams and build relationships in a matrixed environment
• Willingness to relocate full-time to Abu Dhabi
