Associate Sales Engineer - Fire & Security, Spare Parts

What You Will Do

The Associate Sales Engineer will be directly reporting to the Associate Director of the Parts division. You will be part of a team responsible for selling Fire & Security spare parts to end users in the UAE for current or new installation bases and will drive the growth of business for the Aftermarket division segment for Building Technology and Solutions, with a particular focus on Fire & Security spare parts.

You will concentrate on generating business by selling the Fire & Security spare parts to our current installation base business in the assigned territory. As a member of this team, you will work within a vibrant environment that provides a platform for you to use your experience to generate business from the running Fire & Security installation base.

How You Will Do It

As a Sales Engineer, you will chase, qualify, and close new sales opportunities by creating competitive, high-quality proposals and also take part in the tendering and bidding process. You'll demonstrate your expertise and knowledge of the Fire and Security sector by differentiating Johnson Controls, leveraging your deep market knowledge of our competitors' strategies, products, and services. As a Sales Professional, you have a complex knowledge of the Fire & Security market and products, and using this, you will carry out site surveys, understand our clients' requirements, and suggest the appropriate product/solution accordingly.

You are focused on seeking and developing long-term customer relationships and are self-motivated to drive your territory growth. You're determined and consistent in your approach to work, managing multiple priorities simultaneously due to your excellent planning and time management skills.

Required

What We Look For

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering.
  • Minimum 2 years of sales experience focused on Spare Parts sales for Fire Detection, Fire Suppression, or Security systems in the UAE Market.
  • Proficiency in generating business through selling spare parts to end users like MEP Contractors, Developers, or Facilities Management companies.
  • Ability to design technical solutions, select equipment, and advise customers on solutions.
  • Sound business and technical knowledge.
  • High-energy personality with a go-getter attitude and enjoy working in a fast-paced, dynamic industry.
  • Determined, results-driven, strong sales drive.
  • Fluent language skills in English & Arabic.
  • UAE Driving License.
