Associate - Quality and Hygiene | MAF Retail | Hypermarket UAE

ROLE SUMMARY
The Associate Manager - Quality and Hygiene is responsible for supporting activities to ensure the highest quality of hygiene and food safety in all areas of operations within the store.

ROLE PROFILE

1. Support the analysis of quality and food safety standards and implement continuous improvements.
2. Implement the internal quality and hygiene procedures.
3. Implement corrective activities put into place due to audit results.
4. Monitor the storage of fresh food according to the set standards and procedures.
5. Monitor and report on the segregation, storage and timely removal of all waste.
6. Implement training for all food and waste handling staff.
7. Proactively identify and seek professional development opportunities to improve leadership and technical skills pertaining to the direct line of work.
8. Provide training and feedback to direct reportees when required.

REQUIREMENTS

1. Bachelor’s Degree in Food Science or equivalent.
2. 5+ years in related food quality control, 3+ years within the retail working with food is preferable.
3. Excellent communication and presentation skills.
4. Process associated with the development and monitoring of products.
