Associate Project Engineer - Electrical (UAE Nationals)

What you will do

The Associate Project Engineer is a key role directly reporting to Senior Project Manager for Install Business. You will be based in Abu Dhabi and will be a part of a growing team, responsible for driving the growth of business for Building Technology and Solutions with a focus on Energy Solutions in GCC. You will be supporting the project management team in designing and executing projects.

As a member of this team, you will work within a vibrant environment that provides a platform for you to use your experience to support the team with the pre-sales/estimation for energy solutions.

How you will do it

You will be responsible for:

1. Validating assumptions made during solution design.
2. Building energy savings estimates, cost estimates, and scope of work for assigned projects in conjunction with operations.
3. Providing technical risk analysis for the complete solution.
4. Participating in transition meetings with the Operations team to ensure project scope, objectives, timeline, and customer requirements are managed properly.
5. Performing on-site data collection at customer facilities and supporting post-contract design review.
6. Developing multiple components for the bundled sale of energy solutions.

You will also be using strong customer relationship skills to develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders (suppliers and vendors).

What we look for

Required:

1. Bachelor Degree in Electrical / Electronics / Instrumentation Engineering or similar.
2. 0-1 year experience / Intern experience in a similar background.
3. Result-oriented, tenacious, self-motivated, with a customer-focused approach.
4. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
5. Proficient in business analysis.
6. Excellent inter-personal skills - must be able to adapt working style to the personalities and work styles of our stakeholders and internal partners.
7. Fluency in English language is essential.
8. Good analytical skills.
