With a mission to drive innovative education, HBMSU invites applications for a full-time Associate Professor/Professor position in Healthcare Management.

Main roles & responsibilities:

1. Teaching: Conduct online courses in health management, covering topics such as health economics, operations management, health quality, and health information systems.
2. Curriculum Development: Design instructional materials and e-content for healthcare management, incorporating industry best practices and emerging technologies.
3. Research: Contribute to the academic community by publishing research in high-quality, peer-reviewed journals. Develop research proposals, secure funding for healthcare management-related projects, and supervise master's theses.
4. Mentorship: Provide guidance, advice, and mentorship to learners, supporting them throughout their academic and professional journeys.
5. Professional Development: Develop and deliver professional short courses and workshops tailored to the needs of specific target groups and professional communities.
6. Service: Support academic programs by fulfilling essential responsibilities, including activities related to program accreditations and institutional requirements.

Required qualifications & skills:

1. PhD in Healthcare Management from an accredited university, preferably ranked among the top 200 globally.
2. Demonstrated expertise in healthcare management and its practical applications.
3. Ability to teach healthcare management courses at both undergraduate and graduate levels.
4. Preference for candidates with experience in teaching health economics, health finance, health quality, and health information systems.
5. Proven success in teaching at accredited universities.
6. Experience teaching in online learning environments.
7. Ability to incorporate industry insights into curriculum design and classroom teaching.
8. Proven experience in developing and delivering professional workshops tailored to specific needs.

Rank and Appointment:

Candidates will be considered for the rank of Associate Professor or Professor based on the following criteria:

1. A minimum of 5 years of academic experience in a university setting is required.
2. A robust research profile demonstrated by high-quality publications and impactful contributions to the field.
3. Evidence of holding the same academic rank (Associate Professor or Professor) at the time of application or at the last employing institution.
