Assistant / Associate Professor Positions in Computer Science

Position Description

The Department of Computer Science within the College of Computing and Mathematical Sciences at Khalifa University covers a wide array of fields including information systems, computer and information security, software engineering, Internet of Things, embedded systems, computer vision, artificial intelligence, among others. The faculty members conduct cutting-edge research on a wide range of topics within these fields. The department provides Bachelor of Science degrees in Computer Science and M.Sc. and Ph.D. programs in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science.

The department invites applications for multiple positions in all areas of Computer Science at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor. Special consideration will be given to candidates in the areas of Software Engineering, Databases, Artificial Intelligence, Security, and Quantum Computing. Exceptional candidates at the Full Professor level with at least two years of experience in that rank will also be considered. Research and teaching interests may include, but are not limited to, software engineering, security, databases, quantum computing, operating systems, artificial intelligence, and machine learning.
