Associate Director Major Programmes and Projects – Abu Dhabi based - Global Consulting firm expanding their advisory offering in the Middle East

This global consulting firm, known for its expertise in project management and construction consulting, is looking to hire an accomplished Associate Director to lead their new and expanding procurement specialist advisory offering in the UAE after a period of sustainable growth in the Middle East.

This organization works on some of the largest and most well-known projects within the region, including NEOM and wider 2030 vision programs, as well as supporting new and developing projects in Abu Dhabi and the UAE. This role and team will be tasked with taking full advantage of these strong relationships and expanding them.

As a new and developing team within an already established business, this role offers a unique opportunity to genuinely scale a team and business unit, leverage successes into partnership, and utilize a global network. This is an ideal opportunity for someone in the region looking for the next step into senior leadership and beyond.

As a senior leadership role in the region, the following are key requirements for success in this position:

• Senior advisory experience within Riyadh or UAE, with experience in procurement and demonstrable experience in building consulting frameworks for procurement and cost optimization of transformation projects.
• Experience working on large capital or infrastructure projects in Saudi Arabia or UAE is a must.
• Ability to manage a high-performing and growing team, with a clear vision on hiring strategy and operational structure to develop this function.
• Degree level education is ideal, although not essential; further qualifications such as MBA or CIPS are preferred.
