Junior Mechanical Engineer (UAE National)
Dubai, UAE

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Junior Mechanical Engineer (UAE National) to join our team! In this role, you will get to assist the Mechanical team in various design activities.

What You'll Be Doing

1. Assisting MEP team with design works.
2. Preparing equipment schedule with support from MEP team.
3. Coordination with other Engineers and CAD team.
4. Supporting Engineers for all design-related tasks as assigned.
5. Preparing or assisting in preparing fundamental engineering computations, material quantity takeoffs, estimates, surveys, and designs.
6. Assisting in the preparation of detailed requisitions for material purchase, services, and subcontracts.
7. Under the guidance of a more senior engineer, assisting in reviewing supplier drawing submittals and technical bid analyses.
8. Assisting in the preparation and issuance of specifications, data sheets, and other construction documents.
9. Performing other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.

Required Skills You'll Bring

1. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering discipline.
2. Minimum 1 year experience. Fresh UAE National graduates are welcome to apply.
3. Requires basic engineering knowledge in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or a related field.
4. Familiarity with AutoCAD and other PC software packages typically associated with engineering.
5. Fluent in English with excellent interpersonal and communication skills and report writing.
6. A team player with proven ability to work under pressure, multitask, and meet deadlines.
7. Must be UAE National.
