Associate - Landscape Architect

Job Description

We are seeking a talented and innovative Associate Landscape Architect to join our dynamic team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. As an integral part of our design studio, you will contribute to creating sustainable and visually stunning outdoor spaces that enhance the urban environment and reflect the unique character of the region.

Responsibilities:

1. Collaborate with senior landscape architects and multidisciplinary teams to develop conceptual designs and detailed plans for a variety of projects.
2. Create and refine landscape designs using CAD software and 3D modeling tools.
3. Prepare high-quality presentation materials, including renderings, diagrams, and drawings.
4. Conduct site analyses and research to inform design decisions.
5. Assist in the preparation of construction documents, specifications, and cost estimates.
6. Participate in client meetings and present design concepts effectively.
7. Stay updated on sustainable design practices and incorporate them into projects.
8. Mentor junior team members and contribute to a collaborative work environment.
9. Ensure compliance with local regulations and environmental standards in all designs.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Landscape Architecture from an accredited institution.
2. 3-5 years of professional experience in landscape architecture.
3. Professional license or certification (e.g., {LICENSE_PLATE}) preferred.
4. Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp) and 3D modeling tools.
5. Strong graphic design skills and ability to create compelling visual presentations.
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
7. Knowledge of sustainable design practices and their application in landscape architecture.
8. Experience with urban planning and design projects.
9. Understanding of local flora and environmental conditions in the UAE.
10. Familiarity with Middle Eastern landscape design principles.
11. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
12. Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
