Responsibilities:

  1. Manage projects and direct the work of more junior landscape architects.
  2. Responsible for managing a design studio in the successful delivery of Landscape projects to high quality standards, in a timely and cost-effective manner, and in accordance with the Client’s expectations.
  3. Demonstrate an expert understanding of both the landscape profession and the necessary technical programs required to work at a high level within the profession.
  4. Coordinate with other internal disciplines and manage the activities of outside sub-consultants in the execution of assigned projects.
  5. Prepare technical and financial proposals for designated project opportunities.

Qualifications:

  1. 10+ years of relevant work experience partnered with a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture from an accredited University or College program with a professional registration, licensure, or chartership with an internationally recognized professional association.
  2. Expert understanding of the regional construction industry, local construction methods, and their influence on design decisions.
  3. Strong design management experience on landscape projects.
  4. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
