WSP Middle East is looking for an Associate Facility Management Consultant - Building Access and Maintenance to join our Property and Building Business Unit in Sharjah, UAE. The ideal candidate will contribute to enhancing building efficiency, safety, and sustainability through expert facility management strategies.

Your new role, what's involved:

1. Conduct assessments and audits of building access systems, identifying areas for improvement and compliance with local regulations.
2. Develop and implement maintenance programs to optimize building systems performance and longevity.
3. Collaborate with project teams to integrate access and maintenance considerations into building design and construction phases.
4. Advise clients on best practices for building access control, security protocols, and emergency preparedness.
5. Monitor and evaluate service contracts with third-party vendors for building maintenance, ensuring adherence to quality and safety standards.
6. Prepare reports and recommendations based on data analysis and field observations.
7. Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in building access technologies and maintenance practices.

We'd love to hear from you if you have:

1. Bachelor's degree in Facility Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
2. Proven experience in facility management with a focus on building access systems and maintenance, preferably in consultancy or construction sectors.
3. Strong knowledge of building codes, regulations, and standards relevant to building access and safety.
4. Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.
5. Effective communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
6. Proficiency in MS Office Suite and familiarity with facility management software.
7. Professional certifications such as CFM (Certified Facility Manager) or equivalent will be an advantage.
