Associate Fixed Field Maintenance Engineer (from India, Philippines, Nepal, Sri Lanka)

Job Description

Sourcing Nationality: India, Philippines, Nepal, Sri Lanka.

Yearly Salary Range: AED 84,000.00 to AED 90,000.00

Required Skills & Experience:

1. Bachelor's/Diploma Degree in Engineering/Telecommunications/Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
2. At least 4+ years of experience in handling Fixed Network Operation & Maintenance activities, including:
   1. Optical/Electrical circuit provision
   2. Cessations
   3. Re-routing
   4. Network failures due to traffic & hardware
3. Attends assigned major/non-routine tasks related to Core, Access & Fiber Network under supervision & guidance of seniors.
4. Ability to use various types of test equipment to localize & rectify faults.
5. Perform installation of fiber optic equipment and ODF patch panels.
6. Experience in transmission & IP equipment, including:
   1. Cisco routers
   2. Switches
   3. SDH
   4. DWDM
   5. Firewall
7. Attends and clears faults reported by NOC's related to transmission & fiber network using analyzer, light source & power meter.
8. ODTR testing for locating FO cable faults and during cable outages.
9. Support maintenance activities like acceptance testing (ATP, ACL etc.) of new FO cables & network nodes.
