Role Purpose:
The Enterprise Architecture Specialist will support enterprise architecture initiatives, manage and optimize enterprise architecture tool and repository. This role involves collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure the effective use of architecture tool, providing training and support, and continuously improving the architecture processes and procedures.

Key Accountabilities of the role:

1. Administer and maintain enterprise architecture tool and repository, ensuring they are up-to-date and functioning optimally.
2. Provide training and support to users of the architecture tool, helping them to effectively utilize the tool for their needs.
3. Work closely with enterprise architects, IT teams, and other stakeholders to understand their requirements and ensure the tool meets their needs.
4. Continuously evaluate and improve architecture processes and methodologies, leveraging the capabilities of the tool.
5. Ensure the accuracy and integrity of data within the architecture tool and repository including regular audits and updates.
6. Generate and distribute reports and dashboards to provide insights into the architecture landscape and support decision-making.
7. Maintain comprehensive documentation of tool configurations, processes, and best practices.
8. Collaborate with subject matter experts and various IT teams to build a holistic vision of the Application and Infrastructure landscape and their architectures in the Enterprise Architecture (EA) repository.
9. Collection and validation of data for Applications and underlying Infrastructure, categorization and record keeping in the EA repository.
10. Continuously evolving the EA tool meta model to maintain Application and Technology/Infrastructure assets and their relationships in line with industry standards and best practices.
11. Import and process large volumes of data from various sources in various formats in the Enterprise Architecture Repository.

Specialist Skills / Technical Knowledge Required for this role:

1. Proficiency in enterprise architecture tool - ABACUS.
2. Skills in dealing with a large and diverse number of applications preferably in the Banking industry.
3. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey information to stakeholders.
4. Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
5. Advanced skills in Microsoft Visio and Microsoft Excel (queries, dashboards, data import, validation, formatting, fill, named ranges).
6. Advanced PowerPoint skills.
7. Preferred knowledge of Application Architecture and Infrastructure Architecture standards and best practices.
8. Preferred knowledge of various Banking IT applications and their business functions.
