Position: Associate Engineer - Bridges / Structures

We need our engineers to be versatile, enthusiastic, and eager to work in a highly flexible, team-oriented environment, possessing exceptional communication, analytical, and management skills. In this position, you will plan and design structures and facilities such as bridges, tunnels, underpasses, and civil structures. In addition, you may assist in field inspections and the preparation of inspection reports.

Responsibilities

1. Perform a variety of engineering duties and may be developing in a sub-discipline of Civil Engineering such as: structural and/or geotechnical engineering.
2. Responsible for the development of engineering computations, material quantity take-offs, estimates, surveys, and designs.
3. Under close supervision, utilize engineering theories and practices to develop products that meet customer quality requirements.
4. Conduct various engineering and design assignments requiring the application of basic principles and fundamental theories studied in a four-year university engineering program, and available data in the engineering field.
5. Provide support for other engineering activities as required.
6. Perform other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering.
2. Some related work experience and/or internships preferred.
3. Working knowledge of common engineering software including CAD (Bentley or Autodesk) is required.
4. An Engineer in Training (EIT) Certificate is preferred.
5. Requires basic process engineering knowledge, along with a working knowledge of BIM, CAD, and other PC software packages typically associated with engineering.
6. Availability in UAE will be of preference.
