You’ll be responsible for:

1. Managing category leads looking to develop into an operations director.
2. Responsible for managing category leads across teams to deliver key outcomes according to plans and contributing to the strategic development of the function.
3. Providing leadership & direction through leads and/or teams to support and develop teams in the achievement of targets.
4. Developing key executive/client level internal/external stakeholders/leaders.
5. Providing performance management, technical & career development, and coaching.
6. Developing own & team strategies, implementing, managing, and monitoring them cradle to grave to deliver goals.
7. Leading the team on certain workstreams and initiatives, delivering on time and to expectation via others.
8. Being professional, efficient, and effective while delivering on targets; acting as a role model.
9. Directing the category management teams and leadership.
10. Proactively developing and creating internal and external senior stakeholder relationships.
11. Providing expert due diligence and company and market expertise.
12. Executing value-creating processes, performance & commercial activity; with a track record of delivering on targets.
13. Adapting plan development & implementation, including embedding, monitoring, and delivering via others.
14. Providing leadership and management of teams, and acting as a role model for behaviours.
15. Delivering on objectives in challenging situations on time.
16. Working collaboratively towards the common goal of net zero carbon transition and sharing responsibility for the proactive identification and management of the associated carbon emissions and reductions during the delivery of work.

You’ll need to have:

Experience working in the United Arab Emirates is essential for client approval.

You’ll also have:

• GCSE (or equivalent).
• A level (or equivalent).
• CIPS qualified (or equivalent).
• Other industry qualifications.
