Associate Director Hydrogeology

Responsibilities

1. Spearhead the establishment of a hydrogeology business line within the Geotechnical department, including business development strategies and market positioning.
2. Engage in client liaison activities, understanding client needs, and developing tailored hydrogeological solutions to meet their requirements.
3. Lead efforts in work winning by identifying potential projects, preparing proposals, and participating in client presentations.
4. Manage the hydrogeology department line, including resource allocation, team coordination, and performance management.
5. Collaborate in the formulation of comprehensive hydrogeological investigation plans, encompassing site-specific hydrogeological considerations.
6. Facilitate the procurement process for contractors specialized in hydrogeological investigations.
7. Oversee hydrogeological investigation contractors, leveraging prior hands-on experience in conducting hydrogeological surveys and proficiently analyzing hydrogeological data.
8. Conduct hydrogeological assessments, identify groundwater flow patterns, and evaluate aquifer properties.
9. Perform characterization of aquifer properties and hydraulic conductivity using established methodologies.
10. Coordinate hydrogeological testing schedules and interpret resulting data.
11. Contribute to the review and preparation of factual and interpretative reports in hydrogeological domains.
12. Generate technical notes and specifications pertaining to hydrogeological investigations.
13. Utilize hydrogeological modeling tools for data analysis and interpretation.
