Associate Director Bridge Engineer

Responsibilities:

1. Project manage large infrastructure projects from the planning phase to project closeout, ensuring that required drawing standards are maintained and relevant codes of practice are implemented.
2. Develop specifications, cost estimates, and prepare final tender documentation, ensuring compliance with Aurecon’s quality control procedures, as well as supporting construction supervision, including site visits.
3. Conduct conceptual and detailed structural designs in structural steel, pre-stressed and reinforced concrete.
4. Perform bridge/culvert inspections and related BMS requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

1. B Eng. Civil Engineering
2. Pr. Eng. is highly required
3. Plus 15 years’ experience as a Professional Civil Engineer within a Transport Infrastructural environment.
4. Experience with CAD packages and other design software packages is highly advantageous.
5. Proficient in Microsoft Office skills.
6. Good communication skills.
7. Great interpersonal skills.
