About the Role

The Associate will support the asset management and hospitality investment team in the evaluation and analysis of hospitality related investments, operations and market trends. This role will involve conducting research, delivering financial and valuation models and reviewing and analysing acquisition and expansion project proposals. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical background, a good understanding of the hospitality industry and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

•Provide active support in delivering asset management and hospitality investment and proposals, including acquisitions, JVs, development, expansion and valuation projects.

•Assist in due diligence process including close coordination with internal and external stakeholders and the legal and commercial business functions.

•Provide support in building financial/valuation models and provide active assistance in budgeting, forecasting and assessing financial results Assist in developing 5-year business plans, strategic investment plans and business performance reports and provide periodic performance matrix reports

•Perform independent investment research and use quantitative and qualitative market analysis to execute and support and provide insights to the investment management function.

•Keep abreast with latest trends, technology, and tools in investment to maintain competitive edge and informed strategies.

•Prepare detailed and professional reporting decks, presentations for investment proposals and market assessment reports for senior management

•Devise and maintain updated documentation, including detailed market-based investment matrix and data bank for all external investment KPIs.

•Cultivate collaborative working relationships across multiple layers of the organization and ensure effective communication with key stakeholders in the investment process.

Requirements

•Minimum of 5 years of experience in hospitality investment/finance, real estate finance or buy or sell side advisory.

•Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, business, accounting or a related field

•Excellent analytical, qualitative and quantitative skills, high level proficiency with MS systems; advanced excel skills is mandatory.

•Proficiency in financial modelling and valuation techniques and hands-on knowledge of building sound valuation/financial models.

•Ability to interpret and support in execution of transaction documents including but not limited to NDAs, LOIs, MoUs and SPAs.

•Excellent communication and presentation abilities

•Excellent time management skills
