JOB PURPOSE
To support Aldar in its continued growth journey by ensuring its teams operate according to the right operating model, structure and responsibilities.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
•Design new operating models, structures, roles and RACI maps to address organizational challenges, support future growth, and to integrate teams post M&A
•Conduct data-driven organizational analyses to assess the organizational effectiveness of the organization (functions/BUs), including analysis of spans, layers, grades, workforce distribution, etc.
•Build visually compelling presentations to narrate the need for organizational changes and to illustrate the proposed solutions
•Build workplans and communication plans to implement organizational changes. Project manage organizational changes by coordinating P&C and business teams
•Engage with senior stakeholders through interviews and workshops to understand their business challenges/opportunities and to co-create solutions
•Own the workforce planning cycle for one of Aldar’s entities, engaging with senior stakeholders and their teams to define their workforce requirements for the future based on their business objectives.
•Right size teams and provide data-driven insights by gathering organizational data (including external benchmarks)
•Ensure that all changes to operating models, structures and roles are recorded within the OD knowledge management system and that relevant stakeholders are informed accordingly.
QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE
RELATED YEAR OF EXPERIENCE:
•Min of 8+ years of experience in the field of Organization Design
•Strong knowledge of Organization Design methodology (operating model, structure and role design) with proven experience of working across multiple clients/sectors and of delivering tangible business benefits
•Strategic mindset with strong analytical and numerical skills, including data visualization skills
•Excellent PowerPoint skills, creating clear, informative and visually compelling documents
•Excellent written and oral communication skills
•Strong project management skills, with experience of coordinating cross-functional teams
•Workforce planning experience strongly preferred
•Experience with Orgvue or other organizational visualization and analysis tool strongly preferred.
FIELD OF EXPERIENCE:
Organization Design specialist from an established consultancy (i.e., 3,000+ employees).
QUALIFICATION
•Bachelor’s degree
•Master’s degree preferred
