About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and visionary leader to join the Financial Academy as an Assistant Vice President (AVP). This role is critical to developing and executing the Academy's strategy to position it as a global talent hub and a leader in human capital development in finance and the future of finance. The AVP will drive the Academy's vision, ensure financial sustainability, and enhance its reputation as an international knowledge hub.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership:
- Define and execute the Financial Academy's long-term strategy and objectives.
- Build the Academy's brand as a recognized international knowledge hub.
- Collaborate with senior management to align the Academy's strategy with the overall vision.
- Establish strategic partnerships with top business schools and organizations.
- Engage with senior executives from the financial community to address their training and development needs.
- Manage and lead the Academy team to deliver on key objectives and KPIs.
Operational Excellence:
- Oversee the Academy's business operations and ensure its self-sustainability.
- Plan and execute community events, activities, and roadshows.
- Benchmark against similar institutions to maintain a competitive edge.
Process and Compliance:
- Develop and maintain all policies and procedures for the Academy.
- Ensure compliance with Dubai laws and regulations.
Partnership Development:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with educational institutions, corporate partners, and other stakeholders.
- Evaluate and onboard new partners to enhance the Academy's value proposition.
Project Management:
- Identify and execute key annual projects that align with the Academy's strategic goals.
- Oversee project delivery, manage risks, and report on progress.
People Management:
- Foster a culture of professionalism and ethical standards within the Academy.
- Manage team performance, provide coaching and mentorship, and guide career development.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Proven leadership experience in education, finance, or a related field.
- Strong strategic and operational management skills.
- Exceptional ability to build partnerships and networks.
- In-depth understanding of Dubai's regulatory landscape.
