Job Purpose
Support Corporate Finance department in the execution, management, and reporting of corporate & development funding and financial risk management. Please note, this role is for a UAE national only.
Roles And Responsibilities
- Investment Analysis:
- Support business planning and investment analysis processes
- Support rigorous financial analysis, sensitivity analysis, and reviewal of investment proposals by businesses lines (AM/DM)
- Contribute to the identification of key risk drivers of financial underwriting from feasibility models and commercial considerations of proposed transactions
- Capital Allocation:
- Analyze project financing structures and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to build financial model, deliver required financial analysis and draft briefing materials for management
- Participate in fund raising activities and helping set up appropriate fund structures
- Analyze and implement working capital and off-plan financing solutions
- Support the execution of periodic reviews of group return hurdles and cost of capital
- Execute ad-hoc credit analysis and support in dealing with credit rating agency
- Provide data for data-driven recommendations regarding the company's strategic objectives, particularly on capital allocation decisions and strategic planning
- Run analysis of the company's financial structure and various options/sources of capital, including impact on credit rating
- Strategic Company Initiatives:
- Provide support in the origination of strategic initiatives (M&A, 3rd party capital raise – equity & debt)
- Support with the development of Investment Appraisals as part of the whole IC decision process
- Execute live transactions, manage the transaction process, and liaise with counterparties, advisors, etc.
- Provide financial outputs of consolidated business plan
- Assist with maintaining and improving a detailed corporate financial model
- Assist with providing financial outputs of consolidated business plan
Qualification And Experience
RELATED YEAR OF EXPERIENCE: Min of 8+ years of experience in big 4, or blue-chip corporate environment. 4+ years of experience in investment banking, with strong exposure to corporate finance, financial modelling and investment analysis
Field Of Experience: Real estate or related industry is preferred.
Technical And Interpersonal Skills
Excellent analytical skills, presentational skills, attention to detail to ensure a high level of accuracy
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
High level of professional and personal ethical standards
Strong communication and interpersonal skills (verbal and written), adept at building strong relationships and teamwork
QUALIFICATION
Bachelor's degree in finance or economics from a reputable university.
