This role requires a strong analytical mindset, proficiency in advanced data analytics tools, and the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights to support the overall success of the retail malls. This position is for Emiratization only.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead the development and execute implementation of analytical models to assess the performance of retail malls, including foot traffic analysis, tenant sales performance, and leasing metrics.
Monitor and analyze key retail metrics such as occupancy rates, sales per square foot, average transaction value, tenant mix effectiveness, and customer dwell time.
Proven experience of using Power BI and/or other data visualization tools to create interactive dashboards and reports, providing insights to senior management and stakeholders.
Evaluate tenant performance by comparing sales data, footfall, and other relevant metrics across different retail categories and individual stores, providing recommendations for lease negotiations and tenant retention strategies.
Develop and maintain models to project and optimize lease renewals, rent escalations, and vacancy rates, ensuring alignment with business goals.
Identify and implement process improvements in data collection, reporting, and analysis to enhance operational efficiency and decision-making.
Manage the business data management for retail, streamlining and providing real-time information to each business function under the retail team.
Provide and coordinate all letting activity reports across the retail portfolio.
Support business functions and finance in financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, valuation, etc.
Preparation of weekly Leasing Committee (LC) packs for both main units and Sp leasing and act as the custodian of LC.
Define and implement reporting templates.
YEARS OF EXPERIENCE
Min of 8+ years of related experience in business data analytics in Retail Business. Min of 3+ years of experience in managerial roles.
FIELD OF EXPERIENCE
Experience in data and statistical analysis/methods.
Experience in real estate/retail industry.
TECHNICAL AND INTERPERSONAL SKILLS
Solid statistical, mathematical, and programming knowledge.
Strong analytical and quantitative skills. Power BI / Tableau.
Data visualization capabilities such as drawing out patterns, trends, and correlation of available data.
Well-versed in MS Office applications or other database software for the proper management, safekeeping, and retrieval of data.
