Job description

We are seeking a motivated and organized individual to assist our lecturer in the areas of Business Courses. The Assistant will play a key role in supporting academic activities, research, and administrative tasks to ensure the smooth functioning of the lecturer's responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Assist in preparing lecture materials, including slides, notes, and handouts.
  2. Manage scheduling and coordination of classes, meetings, and other academic activities.
  3. Support the lecturer in conducting research, literature reviews, and data analysis.
  4. Maintain and organize records of assignments, projects, and student evaluations.
  5. Provide technical assistance during lectures and workshops.
  6. Handle communication with students and other faculty members as directed.
  7. Perform administrative tasks such as managing emails, reports, and documentation.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in relevant field.
  2. Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  3. Proficiency in tools such as Microsoft Office Suite and Google Spreadsheet.
  4. Familiarity with topics in Business courses is a plus.
  5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  6. Ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Preferred Skills:

  1. Experience in research or academic assistance.
  2. Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) like Moodle or Blackboard.
