Hello, we’re looking for a receptionist or managerial assistant for our premium men’s salon.

Key Responsibilities
Customer Experience
Customer Relationship - maintain a seamless experience from when they first contact for booking to when they leave the salon. Greet customers when they come, thank them when they leave, serve them with refreshments.
Customer Communication - reply to all customers on phone calls, social media and Whatsapp using good English.
Manage customer appointments - ensure appointments are booked and entered properly on Fresha, and executed on time.
Customer Database - gather relevant customer data and maintain a customer database of all the customers on Fresha.
Client feedback - actively observe and take feedback from clients, then implement or suggest improvements.
Customer reviews - ensure new customers post a positive review on Fresha and Google.
Resolve complaints - resolve complaints within 24 hours to ensure customer satisfaction.
Capture photos and videos - Ensure we capture “before and after” makeover photos and short videos of customers every day for our digital marketing.
Increase Sales - think of strategies to bring new customers.
Operational Management
Shop opening - ensure the shop opens on time every day.
Manage inventory - record and monitor the supplies, make sure none of them pass the expiry date, and reorder in a timely manner.
Pest control services and deep cleaning - schedule and manage to ensure compliance with hygiene standards.
Shop repair and maintenance - coordinate with vendors and get the required work done to maintain a professional and welcoming salon environment.
Daily accounts - record and maintain on Fresha and MS Excel.
Manage petty cash - includes maintaining all receipts and providing reconciliation every day.
Debt Collection - ensure all debts are recollected from repeat customers and track all debts every day.
Organize all documents - upload all docs and data on Google Drive, including receipts and invoices on the same day.
Competitor Analysis - stay up to date with services, footfall, prices and marketing of competitor salons.
Hiring - maintain a pipeline of potential barbers, nail tech and any other staff required.
Staff Reporting - regularly report to the salon owners about staff behaviour and their compliance with all the staff policies.
Regulatory Compliance
Compliance with all local regulations - ensure full compliance with Dubai Municipality (Baladiya), health, safety, and labor laws.
Conduct regular audits to ensure all licenses, permits, and certificates are always up to date.
Proactively address compliance gaps to ensure zero fines or penalties.
Document everything, including ejari and visa.

Languages
Good spoken and written English.
Basic understanding of Arabic would be a big plus, but not necessary.
Experience:
At least 1 year experience of working at a salon in UAE in a similar role.
Visa
Should already have UAE residency. We would be happy to extend the visa.
Compensation
