Assistant Security Manager (Emiratization)- Talent Pool 2025

To ensure a smooth and efficient operation in the above Department in relation to the Company Core Process, directly impacting the opening of the Leisure Facility, delivering the experience, and closing the Leisure Facility.

This position also ensures excellent guest service and the highest possible presentation standards by the security team, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations in the Leisure Facility. At times, there could be stressful or serious incidents that may occur and will require utmost attention and readiness for action.

The security department operates 24/7; thus, this position is on call, and night shifts may be required.

Job Scope:

  • Manage a team of external company security colleagues, including their daily attendance, grooming, coaching, appraisals, and personal development plans.
  • Compile duty schedules for their area on a monthly basis to ensure operational readiness and sufficient time off for colleagues.
  • Plan, book, and deliver on and off-job training as required to ensure the best possible service standards and Security colleague development.
  • Openly communicate appropriate and useful information through various channels, including department meetings and briefings.
  • Motivate colleagues through the effective implementation of incentive and recognition and rewards programs.
  • Ensure departmental policies, procedures, and performance standards are implemented and maintained throughout their area.
  • Review departmental policies, procedures, and performance standards to ensure they are up to date, correct, and propose changes as appropriate to ensure high levels of customer service.
  • Ensure any service delivery defects are resolved and identify trends, sharing observations and suggestions with their manager.
  • Review satisfaction results for their areas, identify trends, and share observations and suggestions with their manager.
  • Review the accuracy of any checklists and records completed in their area and analyze.
  • Ensure their area meets financial targets as set by their departmental manager by tracking expenditures and revenue and taking action as appropriate.
  • Coordinate any inventory/stock take activities required in their area, ensuring sufficient stock remains on hand at all times and reducing stock loss/wastage.
  • Participate in daily operations alongside their colleagues, setting a positive example.
  • Foster a harmonious atmosphere among colleagues in their area and bring team members together through team activities.
  • Respond to security breaches, incidents, and emergencies, taking necessary corrective actions, and ensure incidents are investigated, recorded, and reported to the Line Manager.
  • Monitor and manage the standards of customer service offered by security colleagues to ensure that guest expectations are met and exceeded using company policies and procedures.
  • Handle all guest complaints with effective and immediate on-the-spot solutions to meet company standards.
  • Ensure that any criminal activity does not hamper the smooth functioning of the organization.
  • Ensure security colleagues are scheduled for breaks and/or rotations are fair to increase productivity and maintain colleagues' well-being.
  • Organize zonal evacuation drill exercises in the Leisure Facility and create reports from the drill ensuring improvement prospects (YWW specific).
  • Monitor overall security systems performance (e.g., CCTV, FACP, Access Control, Locker system, etc.) and report any irregularities, running overall security operations on a daily basis.
  • Liaise with the authorities (Police & Civil Defense, etc.) to ensure regular communications, updates, and strong relationships are in place.
  • Interview security colleagues prior to their assignment in the Leisure Facility from the security service provider.
  • Coordinate with security service provider operation management related to Leisure Facility department operational requirements.

Requirements:

  • Higher Secondary or equivalent.
  • UAE National with Family Book.
  • 2 years experience in a supervisory role with experience in the hospitality/leisure industry.
