Assistant Security Manager

• Ensures that all activities adhere to and support the Novotel Sharjah.
• Undertakes full responsibility for supervising security officers and enforcing security policies and procedures in accordance with Novotel guidelines, ensuring compliance with all local regulations.
• Familiarizes with all procedures related to fire prevention and evacuation, ensuring prompt decision-making regarding the safety and security of guests and employees.
• Develops and trains hotel talents in firefighting and fire evacuation as per local civil defense.
• Thoughtfully exercises initiative in decision-making and alerts or informs related executives as situations require.
• Investigates, reviews, and follows up on all incidents, loss, and accident reports.
• Ensures the availability, continuity, and security of data and information pertaining to the organization.
• Respects confidentiality in discussing talents and organizational matters, and maintains confidentiality of organization and personnel-related information.

Qualifications:

• Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities.
• Minimum of 2 years experience, preferably in hotel security.
• Good command of English in both written and spoken forms.
• Completed the Security Supervisor Training SIRA Certification.
• Certified in First Aid, CPR, and AED.
• Understanding of hotel operations.
• Customer focus.
• The ability to multitask.
