As an Assistant Sales Manager Leisure, you will be responsible to provide professional and friendly service to all patrons and assist The Director of Sales. What is in it for you:

What you will be doing:
Analyze market trends and develop tailored longstay solutions for corporate clients including negotiating competitive room rates and packages to enhance revenue streams and maintain market leadership.
Be actively involved in the Sales Department to maximize sales.
Ensure compliance with Rixos Bab Al Bahr minimum standards pertaining to Sales & Marketing.
Maintain existing leisure accounts and source new business to achieve the hotel's targeted occupancy and room revenue.
Conduct sales calls to existing and prospective leisure accounts as per areas assigned by DOS.
Maintain all sales activities and account information in the Sales Database.
In conjunction with the Sales Team, prepare and action the monthly sales activities plan.
Entertain qualified clients within the hotel F&B Outlets.
Assist in the coordination of hotel functions as requested by DOS.
Maintain a high profile within the travel industry and foster relationships with accounts in the Market.
Prepare monthly reports for the Director of Sales and Marketing.
Ensure sufficient levels of hotel brochures and other literature are held by key accounts. Take regular initiatives via email communication with these accounts.
Respond to tender requests from leisure clients in conjunction with DOS. All submissions are to be approved by the DOS prior to distribution.
Interstate sales trips may be required; however, this will depend on the sales and marketing budget and approval by DOS.
Participate in selected trade shows.
Ensure companies for which you are responsible are being tracked in accordance with their room night targets on a monthly basis and report as per the guidelines set out by the DOS.
Attend weekly sales meetings with the DOS.
Conduct site inspections and host familiarization visits when required.
Attend monthly review meetings with DOS to discuss results versus goals in the annual sales call plan and company sales strategy.
Be flexible to carry out other duties and assignments as requested by the DOS.
Qualifications:
Strong analytical skills to understand key business indicators and competitive trends and develop approaches to these challenges
Business degree or any relevant qualification would be advantageous
Positive attitude and good communication skills
Commitment to delivering a high level of customer service
Excellent grooming standards
Excellent organizational and planning skills
Flexibility to respond to a range of different work situations
Ability to work under pressure and under one's own initiative
Additional language skills are an asset (Russian).
