Job Summary: The Assistant Sales Manager is responsible for driving revenue growth by maximizing sales opportunities within assigned segments, in line with Hyatt International's Corporate Strategies and brand standards. You will act as a sales specialist, ensuring profitability while managing a team to achieve set targets. Your role will include maintaining excellent relationships with clients and delivering superior service to enhance guest satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue targets.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities to drive sales growth.
Manage and lead a sales team to achieve individual and departmental goals.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to encourage repeat business.
Analyze market trends and competitor activities to adjust sales tactics as needed.
Prepare accurate sales reports and forecasts for management review.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure guest satisfaction and seamless operations.
Negotiate contracts with clients to maximize revenue while maintaining brand standards.
Assist in the planning and execution of sales events and promotional activities.
Requirements:
Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to manage a team effectively.
Proven track record in sales within the hospitality or tourism sector.
Ability to identify opportunities and create strategic sales plans.
Good problem-solving, administrative, and interpersonal skills.
Level of Education:
A degree or diploma in Hospitality, Tourism Management, or a related field is preferred.
Work Hours:
Flexible working hours, including weekends and holidays, based on business needs.
Experience in Months:
Minimum of 24 months in a similar role as an Assistant Sales Manager or Sales Executive.
